Sizing Information For Handmade Cotton Knitwear
We recommend that our handknits are worn "soft and loose" and should "skim" rather than cling to the body. This allows for the movement we feel necessary to show these beautiful knitwear designs, the intricacy of their patterns and stitching to be shown to their best effect. If you require assistance with your sizing requirements for your handmade knitwear, we will be delighted to advise you. Please Contact Us.
By its very nature Handmade Cotton Knitwear has a tendency to grow slightly. An allowance for this should be considered when making your choice of size and length.

Sleeve Lengths
Inner sleeve lengths of our handmade knitwear designs are generally 17.5" (44.5cm). This measurement is taken from the under arm to the wrist seam and does not include any additional trim or allowance for drop-shoulder designs.
Some of our knitwear designs have a three-quarter-length sleeve and others have a longer sleeve which may fall on to the back of the wrist. In these cases the variation will be indicated in the description of the individual designs.
Lengths
Due to the handmade nature of our knitwear designs and the individual knitter's interpretation of the patterns, slight variation in the design and stitching illustrated may occur. Even the same knitter is unable to knit two identical garments. This is part of the intrinsic charm of our high quality handmade knitwear.
We accept that a tolerance of no more than 1" (2.5cm) in either direction is passable by our quality controllers, due to variations in knitting tension, but pride ourselves that the majority of our garment measurements are accurate.
Colour
Colour may vary slightly to those shown in our photographs. Variation in shade of yarn at dyer's normal variation level will be allowed as acceptable by our quality controllers.
